I owned a wonderful Westie, Mittzi Su, and she had a companion named Mac Paddy, a

Scottie.  When Mittzi lost her hearing...Mac served as her ears....but then he had bladder cancer...fought a brave battle...and then had to leave us.

Mittzi and I were lonely...so, we found TODD at Westie Rescue.  We had a few issues..but he settled in and let Mittzi be the alpha dog.  They played and chased even though they were both seniors.   Then Mittzi died of lung cancer.  Todd was a stoic survivor.   He weathered the loss, moved into the Alpha, male of the household bit right away.  He was the perfect dog.  Loved everyone...well mannered...but suddenly at age 12, he had kidney failure.  He fought valiently and maintained his loving, caring attitude to the end.   He now lives in doggie heaven and chases Mittzi and Mac...doing their little dancing plunges and waiting for me.

The house was so empty and sad, but Westie Rescue found me Joe...and now this home is Westieville again ...thank you Westie Rescue for your care and love.
